Laura Lomax is an award-winning production and AV designer for theatre, film and events. Based in the UK, Laura’s portfolio of work also encompasses costume design, large-scale puppetry, directing & producing.

Laura trained at LIPA and has collaborated with numerous companies such as Punch Drunk, Liverpool Biennial, Walk the Plank and Selladoor Worldwide. Her AV design clients include the Kaiser Chiefs, 20 Stories High and Riverside Studios in London. Production design credits include music videos with LMA-winner Natalie McCool, TV Pilots, and commercial videos.

 

Recently, Laura has designed fire costumes for Bring the Fire Project’s River of Light and Light Night performances and constructed large-scale props/flags and puppets for events such as Eurovision’s OGAE Welcome and Manchester Day Parade.

Laura’s directing credits range from 'Mixed Media', screened at FACT as one of the top 10 independent films of 2012. Her work as a producer includes 'Lamb', gold award winner of the It’s Liverpool on Film competition and the shortlisted Film Four Scene Stealers entry 'This Is England?'.
